MKEC is looking for an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our team at our Wichita, KS location.

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from ABET accredited university.
  • 5+ years of directly related experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge/familiarity with: Allen Bradley, RSLogix500 & 5000, FactoryTalk View SE & ME, Wonderware – Intouch, Unity, Concept, Vijeo, PanelBuilder, Accumate, Micromate, ROCLINK 800, and OmniCom
  • Working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).
  • Meet the physical requirements to work in and around construction sites.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and able to handle multiple projects at once.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as time management skills.
  • Able to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines, exhibit good business judgement and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Compliance with MKEC and client drug/alcohol and safety programs.
