As a member of Insurity's Education team, you will design and implement programs and instructional materials, create engaging learning modules and compelling certification programs, provide live trainings, support students and be part of a growing team that will path the way for world-class education efforts across multiple business units.
What You’ll Do
- Design programs and instructional materials in a variety of styles including Design and build instructional materials for a variety of delivery methods including, e-learning, reference guides, and in-class training.
- Create engaging learning activities, exercises, and compelling course content that enhance the learning process
- Contribute to existing set of instruction design best practices and standards.
- Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify training needs for both internal and external audiences.
- Set instructional end objectives and create content that aides in their successful achievement
- Create a visualization of instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.)
- Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of training initiatives
- Maintain project documentation and course folders
- Deliver on quarterly and annual training roadmaps
Who You Are
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar role
- Understanding of the insurance industry is a strong asset
- Understanding of software development lifecycle is a strong asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design/Educational Technology
- Proficient using Articulate Storyline or similar eLearning software.
- Knowledge of the Adobe suite is nice to have
- Comfortable in a collaborative work environment, building strong and effective lines of communication with colleagues and subject matter experts.
Where: This role can be performed either remotely or one of Insurity's US offices (ex. Hartford, CT, Lakeland, FL, Austin, TX)
Note: This role is expected to begin remotely due to COVID-19.
