Responsibilities

While reporting to the Syneos Health Institutional Manager this role will provide critical oversight on matters related to the project and responsible for building external relationships with recognized experts, HCPs, and prioritized external stakeholders in the therapeutic area and integrated health care systems. The Institutional Specialist will develop deep product, and competitor knowledge, as well as understanding local and regional market trends.

  • Assist and coordinate critical activities with physicians and office staff through the drug initiation process, product training, patient support programs, and follow-up where applicable.
  • Collaborate and partner with peers in the sales organization, brand team, and other support partners to deliver an extraordinary customer experience.

Job Requirements

Along with strong business acumen, demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5+ years of Pharmaceutical Sales experience
  • 2+ years of Hospital Sales experience
  • Must have existing relationships in the market
  • Recent Hospital launch experience within the last 2 years is preferred
  • Experience developing, implementing, executing and measuring success with account plans and formulary/protocol decisions
