Installed Auditing Estimator

Description/Job Summary

The Installed Auditing Estimator Position is responsible for all commercial takeoffs for both installed and material only projects. Thi incumbent will review plans and specifications relative to the schedule and scoe of the work, and works closely with auditing, hub, and preject execution teams in order to review construction projects and associated paperwork. ( Salarey negotiable based on experience)

Responsibilities/Duties

Essential Functions

1. Create and review takeoffs for both install & material projects

2. Review plans & specifications relative to schedule and scope of work

3. Communicate with other team members to insure project success

Competencies

1. Ability to use discretion and independent judgement.

2. Review & analysis of blueprints & specifications relative to schedule & scope

3. Familiarity with computer software for blueprint takeoffs (Planswift)

4. Internal communication auditing, hub, and project execution teams as well as 84's customers

5. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business reports, technical procedures and /or government regulations; write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions.

6. Ability to solve practical porblems and deal with a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or at least 2 years of specific experience and/or training related to the essential functions of the job; or equivalent combination of education and training.

Work Environment

This position is located in a busy office area and is faced with constant interruptions on a regular basis. There is low to moderate exposure to common offices sounds such as ringing phones, talking, printers, copy machines and fax machines. This position will also frequently work from construction job sites.

Physical Demands

This position involves frequent sitting, use of hands and reaching with hands and arms. Rarely this position stands.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Hours of work depends on hours of operations, 48+ hours per week.

Travel

Limited travel is expected for this position.
