Job Description

General Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative meets established sales goals by maximizing new sales opportunities and maintaining and expanding our customer base. This role is primarily responsible for making outbound sales calls to generate new revenue and ensure the sustained health of key accounts. The Representative will also be called upon to assist with the promotion of new products and services and gather market intelligence.

Responsibilities Include:

  • New revenue activity
    • Achieve quarterly and annual new revenue goals by driving new customer relationships and providing existing customers with additional products and services
    • Execute campaign directives for new customers, including new product campaigns and strategic offerings

  • Account management activity
    • Achieve quarterly and annual run-rate revenue goals by servicing existing accounts with exemplary customer service
    • Execute campaign directives for existing accounts, including up-selling, cross-selling, product conversions, product upgrades, and price campaigns

  • Sustain and report weekly progress toward revenue goals
    • Monitor, track, and review KPIs such as revenue achievement against target and competitive win/loss performance
    • Expeditiously pursue sales leads, inquiries, and opportunities through productive and daily use of CRM; organize and record all sales activity in CRM on a timely and sufficient basis
    • Perform daily customer calling activities as guided by standard productivity metrics

  • Assist in market development
    • Communicating directly with customers to identify and record systemic trends across and through the customer base
    • Provide accurate and actionable market information and insights to EnviroLogix’s Marketing and Finance functions to enable further development of key markets

Reports To: VP, Sales for the Americas

Skills Required:

  • Determined self-starter; must be able to work effectively and efficiently in an independent role
  • Highly methodical and process-oriented; ability to continuously execute on a recurring, high-frequency action plan
  • Highly motivated to achieve established sales targets
  • Experienced problem-solver, especially when employing countermeasures to close a gap in a performance metric
  • Extremely organized and structured
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to set high standards for quality
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience with CRM systems (especially Salesforce.com) highly preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in relevant field
