Job Description
We are seeking an Inplant Ink Technician for our customer's site. The Inplant Ink Tech/ position will be liaison between INX and the customer. You will be responsible to:
- Weigh up batches of ink
- Mix batches of ink
- Coordinate inventory levels for press needs
- Receive and rotate stock
- Perform colormatching
- In-plant maintenance
Qualifications
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
- Have a High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
- Have excellent verbal, written, reading comprehension and math skills
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Suite (MS Office) programs and other computer skills
- Demonstrate good organizational skills
- Be able to match colors effectively and pass a color vision test
- Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently
In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you are:
- Dispensing system and software knowledge
- Flexographic printing knowledge a plus
- Flexible packaging knowledge a plus
- Previous ink experience
