DescriptionUnder minimal supervision, plan, coordinate, install, maintain, optimize, and enhance computing and communication environment, including desktop, servers, network infrastructure, wireless, voice, data and RF communication systems. Provide field technical support to end users and operational systems.- Provide advanced computer and network field support, including the implementation, advanced troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of computing, communications and voice systems
- Provide advanced support for communications devices, including switches, hubs, wireless devices, MESH networking components, voice systems, RF systems and other networking infrastructure (both copper and fiber optic)
- Perform advanced troubleshooting to diagnose and correct infrastructure configuration and performance problems related to voice, data and wireless communications
- Manage the site's computing infrastructure, including site virtual and physical servers and storage devices for business and process control systems
- Assist with the design, definition, execution and implementation of local and corporate MIS infrastructure projects
- Actively participate and promote Safety and Environmental programs, ensure MIS policy compliance and site operational goals
- Perform configuration, management and troubleshooting of site two (2)-way radio communications systems
- Perform other duties as required
- Six (6) years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair, AND two (2) Technical Certifications in disciplines relevant to the role that the applicant will be filling, OR
- Eight (8) years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair, AND one (1) Technical Certification in a discipline relevant to the role that the applicant will be filling, OR
- Ten (10) years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair
- Must be customer service-oriented and possess good organizational and interpersonal skills
- Skill in effective communication, both verbal and written
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime as business dictates
- High School diploma or GED
- RF experience
- Knowledge and understanding of automation, instrumentation and process control technologies
- Cisco CCNP Certification
- Microsoft Server MCITP Certification
- A+ Certification
- Network + Certification
- Training in and/or experience with Physical/Virtual Server Management
- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
- Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
- Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
- Work is performed in a mine or manufacturing plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, explosives, fumes or airborne particles
- May be required to work a non-standard schedule which may include shift work (other than day shift) in a 24/7/365 operation
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear and see
- Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects up to fifty (50) pounds during the course of the workday
- Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required

Pay Range:
$33.40-$47.00/Hourly
Rate of pay dependent on competency, experience, qualifications and skills
