As an Infrastructure Administrator, you will provide operation, support and management of all FRT Microsoft servers, Shared infrastructure and IT services (including Active Directory, user computers and software assets, Office 365 email, phone, audio and visual equipment, and business applications). To succeed, you need to be a service-oriented technologist, willing to learn new technologies to help us continuously improve our infrastructure.

The Role: As an Infrastructure Administrator at FRT, you will:

  • Oversee administration of Office 365 and all of its components
    • This includes administering and understanding the following components: Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online Services; Exchange Online Protection (DLP), SharePoint and MS Teams
  • Perform Infrastructure administration tasks within the IT group on an as-needed basis
    • Server’s administration to include Active Directory & GPOs, Windows Operating Systems (Server 2012, Win10 and higher)
    • Manage hardware and software assets inventory, communication and audio & visual infrastructure
    • Proactively identify and optimally time upgrades, migration and performance improvement opportunities to infrastructure
  • Ensure team provides excellent support to all users, removing technical impediments preventing colleagues from getting their work done
    • Assist with setting up equipment and accounts and completing moves, additions, and changes as needed
    • Track all service requests and issues, acknowledging, troubleshooting, and resolving all requests, escalating as necessary

Our ideal candidate is:

  • At least 5 years of solid working experience in infrastructure and service administration, including, but not limited to: Active Directory & GPOs, Windows Operating Systems (Server 2012 and higher) and infrastructure backups
  • At least 3 years of high-level administration experience and understanding of the following Office 365 components: Exchange Online Services; Exchange Online Protection (DLP), Sharepoint and MS Teams
  • Experienced in troubleshooting and administering moderate to complex issues with computers and applications, VOIP, audio and visual hardware
  • Communicates well, both verbally and in writing
  • Self-directed and detail oriented, with strong analytical, problem solving, and creative thinking skills
  • Highly collaborative, prioritizing collaboration over credit, and interested in building strong relationships with peers across corporate functions
  • A planner, identifying and analyzing problems, proposing solutions, and anticipating future problem areas before initiating action
  • Intellectually curious, with a demonstrated commitment to continuous growth
