Job Description

SUMMARY OF OVERALL PURPOSE

The Information Technology Analyst works with other members of the IT team to meet the technology needs of end users including staff, volunteers, wish families, and other guests. This position is responsible for provisioning system accounts, computers, switches, and access points. This position has the primary responsibility for troubleshooting user technology channels for on-site and remote users. Technology supported includes but is not limited to: Windows and Mac computers, Avaya phones, printers, copiers, security cameras and audio distribution systems. The IT Analyst also contributes to Village projects including IT deployments and venue upgrades.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITES

End User Support

  • Support guest-facing departments to ensure Quality Show at all times.
  • Ability to learn and develop skills in identifying and solving issues
  • Provide end user assistance for desktop hardware and software problems
  • Serve as IT liaison for supporting all office equipment and moves including copiers, printers and computing hardware.
  • One on one training for common tasks to empower users and reduce support ticket volume

Provisioning

  • Creation / Deletion of accounts as staff changes
  • Setup of computing devices for new staff
  • Enrollment of new staff in programs required for job function (Email ticketing systems, Security Training, etc.)

Asset Management

  • Tracking of technology assets (including computers, desk phones, mobile phones, printers, monitors, etc.) in Asset Management System
  • Periodic inventory of assets
  • Reporting of asset ages and planned replacement

Telecommunications & Entertainment Technology

  • Ability to learn and develop problem solving skills necessary in supporting analogue, digital and IP based phone for both guests and staff clients.
  • Assist with the installation of new systems.

All other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OUTSIDE NORMAL WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to work in a fast paced rapidly changing technology and office environment.
  • Willingness to work a non-standard schedule to include weekends, nights, holidays and maintain a rotating on call schedule to also include: weekends, nights and holidays.
  • Ability to lift 25-35 pounds and install computer equipment in confined areas.
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain multiple priorities and ability to adapt quickly and easily to a changing environment.
  • Ability to work with all types of individuals, including: co-workers, volunteers, vendors and leaders.
  • Must be able to use creative problem solving skills and demonstrate decisiveness
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate technical concepts to all levels of technology experience.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex technical information.
  • Extensive knowledge of local and wide area networks and communication protocols for Windows server and desktop based products.
  • Strong written communications skills.
  • Ability to operate a motorized vehicle, including battery-operated golf cart
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Bachelor of Science or related degree.
  • 2-4 years in a support role of a mixed Windows desktop, server and fiber optic campus wide network environment.
  • Microsoft Azure AD, Azure Hybrid Management, Windows AutoPilot, Windows InTune experience, preferred
  • Scripting / programming of IT systems for automation, preferred
  • Knowledge / experience with Audio / Video systems, preferred
  • Knowledge / experience of PLC or other industrial automation components, preferred
