The Information Security team is driving a significant part of the transformation and is responsible for supporting close to 60 offices & plants worldwide. This high caliber team is made up of around 120+ IT experts, IT service specialists, engineers, business analysts and Cloud specialists, working from several locations.

Job Title: Information Security Operations Analyst
Location: Europe (preferably UK/NL/HUN)
Work location WFH (Working from home, full-time with minimal traveling 1 or 2 times per Quarter)
Role: Permanent


Role Description
Reporting to the Group Information Security Director, this role will play a key part in the early development of Trivium Packaging’s security program and journey. This role will be the first to respond to security related incidents including threat detection, threat investigation and timely response. Working closely with the managed security service provide and internal IT to communicate security information and provide operational support.


Key Responsibilities
• Work with managed security service providers to analyse and respond to security events.
  • Support IT service delivery teams to resolve security related tickets.
  • Ensure appropriate secure access to resources across technology environments to meet compliance requirements, such as how users gain and identity, the protection of that identity and the technologies supporting that protection (e.g. network protocols, passwords, etc.).
  • Incident team facilitator to support the incident team leader on resolution of security incidents.
  • Provide training and support to regional IT teams to support security operations.
  • Support E-Discovery and forensic computer examination for the purposes of legal disclosures.
  • Support the vulnerability management program to ensure IT perform appropriate remediations.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Competent in the configuration and management of security tools including firewall monitoring, intrusion detection and prevention technology, threat and vulnerability management, data loss prevention, filtering technologies, traffic inspection solutions, data analytics platforms and data forensics that support incident response investigations.
  • Capable of reviewing security alerts to see their relevance and urgency and carrying out triage to ensure that a genuine security incident is occurring.
  • Ability to use threat intelligence such as updated rules and Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) to pinpoint affected systems and the extent of the attack.
  • Analytical skills to run processes and configurations on affected systems and to carry out in-depth threat intelligence analysis to find the perpetrator, the type of attack and the data or systems impacted, implementing containment and recovery.

Education & Experience:

Experience working with IT security tools including Firewalls, Web & Email Security, Anti-virus & Anti Malware, Multi Factor Authentication, Threat Intelligence and Monitoring and Vulnerability Scanning.


Preferred Qualifications:

ITIL and relevant vendor related certifications, (Vulnerability Management software such as Qualys or an equivalent tool is preferred), or demonstration of intent to achieve certifications, would be desirable.
