Job Description

TransVoyant is seeking a self-starting Information Security Manager with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a nimble and fast-paced Agile development environment. The ideal candidate must have a desire to take on new challenges and learn quickly–working well in a team environment, as well as individually.
This role is critical in ensuring we provide a stable, reliable, and secure environment for our applications and tools, and our customers’ data. You will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring existing security controls and policies as well as creating processes and policies for automating and ensuring a compliance.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor running security systems
  • Ensure security policy and controls compliance
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders as needed
  • Vendor Management
  • Running certification processes
  • Policy documentation and corporate training
  • Global security policies and compliance for data privacy and processing

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • BS in Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with SOC 2 Type 2 certification process
  • Experience with ISO27001 certification process
  • Experience with HIPAA certification process
  • Familiar with GDRP and CCPA
  • Familiar with IDS/IPS systems
  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors for security audits
  • Experience in TCP/IP networking configuration, security, and troubleshooting
  • Experience with AWS technologies such as EC2, ELB, security groups, IAM, GuardDuty etc. is a plus
  • Experience with Nessus is a plus
  • Familiar with GxP is a plus
  • Experience with OSS Binary Software Composition Analysis (SCA) tools is a plus
  • Experience with Threat Modeling policies, processes and/or tools is a plus
