Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success working on projects relating to the defining and assessing of Data Protection strategy, architecture and practices, and technology implementation including the following:
- Understanding at least two Data Protection capabilities such as Database Activity Monitoring (IBM, Imperva etc.), Data Access Governance (SailPoint, Stealthbits, Varonis etc.), Data Classification (Boldon James, Microsoft Information Protection, TITUS etc.), Data Loss Prevention (Forcepoint, McAfee, Symantec etc.), Information Rights Management (Microsoft Information Protection, Seclore, Vera etc.);
- Developing and implementing Data Protection solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned to their business, technology and threat drivers;
- Implementing Data Protection tools within a complex business environment, through requirements gathering, building, testing, and production roll-out;
- Demonstrating proven problem solving skills with an emphasis on tool development/implementation;
- Developing Data Protection strategy and roadmap, operating model, policies/standards, and tool design and process documents;
- Evaluating new solutions and services, providing a business case on whether the firm should develop skills and vendor relations within new Data Protection solutions and technologies;
- Demonstrating knowledge of NIST, HIPAA, COBIT, GDPR, CCPA as well as other industry recognized information security/privacy standards and industry leading practices;
- Identifying and addressing client needs and building relationships with clients;
- Contributing to project planning, engagement administration, budget management, and the successful completion of engagement work streams;
- Collaborating with business development teams responsible for writing and presenting proposals to prospective clients;
- Contributing to business development opportunities and/or engagements from pre-sale and initial scoping through final delivery and sign-off; and,
- Demonstrating documentation and presentation skills.
