HDR is looking for an Industrial Wastewater EIT/ Engineer to join our growing group in Boise, ID.
Primary Responsibilities:
The primary duties of the Industrial Wastewater EIT/ Engineer are:
- Planning, design, permitting, construction administration, and startup and commissioning of industrial water and wastewater facilities ranging from food & beverage to semiconductor.
- Provide project and task management; conduct difficult to complex process engineering for both projects and proposals; collect, assimilate, and present data in reports; determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection while working directly with the Owner in preparing engineering plans and specifications for design of industrial facilities including water and wastewater collection, distribution, physical/chemical and biological treatment, reuse, and permitting.
- Proficient in water and wastewater treatment processes and technologies.
- Possess strong oral and written communication and listening skills including good leadership and organizational skills.
- Business development experience desired.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- BS in Engineering required (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Civil).
- EIT required
- 3+ years’ experience required. Must include industrial water/ wastewater process engineering experience.
- Experience with process engineering for physical/chemical and biological treatment of organic and inorganic industrial water/wastewater.
- Experience in marketing and pursuit of industrial water/wastewater project.
- Experienced with Industrial Facility design and construction.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
- Experience in working directly with the Owner.
- Project planning & budgeting experience including construction cost estimating.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS in Engineering preferred.
- PE preferred.
- Biological wastewater modeling desirable.
- Experience with design/build and/or EPC project delivery is desirable.
