Job Description***Special Note Regarding Working From Home:
This is a work from home position for candidates who reside in the state of Texas. Due to business constraints, candidates outside the state of Texas will not be considered for this position and should not apply. Successful candidates must be able to report to one of our Texas locations in San Antonio or Austin for new hire paperwork on day one and meet our work at home requirements (see below). Our next new hire training class is scheduled to start on September 26, 2022
How You’ll Shine
As an Inbound Reservations Agent, you’ll make booking vacations a breeze for owners. First, you’ll learn everything you need to know about our timeshare products, brands, resorts, and destinations. Then you’ll have the option to work from home, taking calls from owners who are excited to plan their dream getaways.
Though no two days are the same at Wyndham Destinations, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Make reservations for owners
Troubleshoot reservation issues and help owners change or cancel existing reservations
Ask discovery questions to learn more about owners’ vacation preferences
Become an expert on our resorts, amenities, and destinations
Check resort availability and suggest alternative dates or accommodations if needed
Confirm reservation details to ensure accuracy and explain policies
Educate owners about vacation insurance and points protection
Provide assistance with additional travel planning
Answer questions about the vacation club product and how it’s used

Are You the Right Fit? Here is What we are Looking for:
High School Diploma or GED required
Six months customer service or sales experience
Ability to build rapport with a customer quickly, ask probing questions, and meet the customer’s needs
Strong active listening and problem solving skills
Must have demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and multi task
Training schedule (4 weeks): 8:30am - 5:15PM Central
Initial schedule after training; 12:30pm-9:00pm Central during the week and 10:30am-7:00pm Central on weekends and some holidays
What is required for me to work from home?
Quiet workplace free of distractions,
High speed internet (DSL or Cable only) with download speed of 10mbps, upload speed 2mbps, Latency less than 80ms
Must be able to hardwire computer directly to router
Must have own personal device with a camera and ability to download applications for first week of training (ex: zoom and OKTA )
Homeowners or renters insurance for the work environment (proof of insurance will be required on day 1)
Intermediate computer proficiency and ability to troubleshoot technical issues while at home
