SUMMARY:

A Brand Ambassador must be energetic and able to engage and maintain strong relationships with customers. Must be adaptable to varying store assignments and environments, and have strong problem solving skills. Must also be comfortable learning new information or technology and effectively explain these concepts to others.

We are looking to hire someone who has fun talking to people and can communicate ideas with them quickly.

This is a non-sales position and requires no high pressure tactics.

One of our customers is looking for individuals to help them roll out a new product line within its convenience store environment and you would be responsible for communicating how this new line works.

A Brand Ambassador is responsible for

  • Presenting and Training customers on the features, benefits and value of a customer’s products. Be able to adapt to different audiences. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Installing light customer displays, display components and products. Must be mechanically inclined.

Must have the ability to follow a pre-determined schedule during the weekdays, meet specific training and/or presentation start times that will be determined by the client, travel and transport small package materials to the assigned locations, report accurate and timely data and photos through phone / internet , communicate professionally and effectively with Footprint Management, retailer and our customers. Must have flexibility to accommodate customer-directed schedule changes

. Requirements:RequirementsSKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE/ ABILITIES REQUIRED:The ability to read, write and speak English at a high-school level. Possess the ability to quickly gain knowledge of a new product/equipment. The ability to follow instructions, understand and implement training and demonstrating concepts. The ability to read a planogram. Effectively communicate with store personnel in a friendly, outgoing and professional manner. Detail oriented and have strong organizational skills. Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Must be ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must have access to reliable transportation and the ability to travel up to but not limited to 50 miles one direction. Strong presentation skills, outgoing / upbeat personality.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Computer literate with daily ability to access email. Must be able to work effectively in smart phone/web-based applications.Accurately work within reporting applications to indicate work availability, check schedule for work assignments, accept work assignments, receive work documentation and information, record work start and completion times, record work mileage, record work expenses, record work time and attendance, complete training activities, report in-store survey, capture and upload store photos.Must be comfortable utilizing Technology (i.e. smartphones and handheld devices)Adheres to all deadlines as assigned by the District Manager and/or other Company management/systems. Ability to manage own workload under limited supervision.
In-Store Field Services Requirements:
  • Ability to receive retail specific materials and instructions (via FedEx/UPS/messenger/mail/email) and bring to assigned locations
  • Demonstrate, install, and evaluate displays and products per pre-established guidelines
  • Report completion, upload surveys and photos, and report time and expenses into Footprint’s reporting system within the same day as visit completion
  • Ensures that work area is clean and safe
  • Ability to adjust pace and tasks as needed and possess the ability to work cooperatively with other employees and third parties
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions
  • Willingness to assist with training of new Ambassadors
  • Ability to retain and relay user instructions to the customer in an exciting and engaging way
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to make decisions about proper safety
  • Ability to adhere to Footprint Uniform and physical appearance policies
  • Ability to manage the appropriate number of visits and hours required to obtain goal objectives
  • Ability and willingness to be exposed to heights while on stools and/or step-ladders
  • Ability to communicate any problems, concerns or customer questions to the appropriate party
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information processed
  • Any other reasonable request related to the job
Physical Demands:
  • Occasionally (up to 33% of time): Sitting, Climbing, Crawling, Exposure to Marked Changes in Temperature and Humidity, Lifting up to 65 lbs. but only with assistance from another person
  • Frequently (33%-66% of time): Walking, Bending, Stooping/Squatting, Kneeling, Pushing/Pulling, Use of Hands and Arms in repetitive manner, Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Continuously (66%-100% of time): Standing, Reaching, Handling, Lifting up to 20 lbs
