- To maintain proper safety standards according to established policies and procedures including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed in the production area
- Perform in-process quality audit activities within the production area (Printing & Payment/ID) as assigned
- Keep a running list of all non-conforming material and ensure the product gets sorted/reworked/scrapped timely so as to not cause late deliveries to our customer
- Conduct Final Product audits for positive release of all products after re-work
- Confer with production personnel and supervisors to resolve non-conformances and report unresolved problems to management via PNF (NCR) database system
- Input PNF in the database system and management of all PNFs (NCRs)
- Aide in root cause analysis, and assigns action party responsible for corrective action implementation
- Assist in performing investigations of significant quality issues to identify specific responsibility and cause. Work with department managers to analyze complex inspection problems and recommend correction actions
- Compiles, tabulates and summarizes test and inspection data for analysis. Record inspection data in company databases
- Act as a link to other shifts by communicating with QA/other department personnel and Supervisors on the shifts before and after
- Assist with the development and maintenance of department procedures and work instructions. Assist in training personnel and ensure that employees received updated training in work instructions and procedures
- Supports and understanding of ISO 9001, VISA/MC/PCI, customer, and any other specifications and requirements
- Assist fellow employees resolve problems. Be the backup for the other QA Inspectors
- Assist the supervisor to maintain workflow in the department and to coordinate department functions with the production schedule
- Must follow procedures and guidelines as defined by the Employee Handbook
- Perform other duties as directed by direct Supervision
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or one year related experience and/or training in manufacturing quality; or equivalent combination of education and experience
