In-Home 9th-12th Math & Language Art Tutor

Requirements:

• Graduate students, teacher or substitute teacher
• Must passed a proficient language arts and math skill development test.
• Strong in 9th-12th grades grammar/writing skills and/or strong in math skills
• Having some teaching/tutoring experience with students 9th - 12thgraders
• Our tutors need to be detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Our tutors need to be passionate about helping students and be their role model

* Tutor will meet at different students homes for sessions *

Availability:

• Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
• Be able to start in September and be committed until mid-June.
• 1 to 10 hours per week

Position Description:

• Responsible for helping students with their homework/school project and test preparation
• Determine and provide support in student's struggling subjects
• Documenting and tracking student progress
• Plan and teach writing/reading and/or math.
• Collaborate with the director

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Tutors Require to Wear a mask when tutoring at students' home.

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Tutoring/teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR and First Aid Certified (Preferred)
