The responsibilities of this position include back-end software configuration, quality control testing, support, as well as additional project assignments. This position must translate client-defined specifications and requirements into a deliverable product by setting up and configuring back-end software. The candidate will consistently maintain security and confidentiality of all client data per company policy and HIPAA requirements. Effective communication with both technical and non-technical co-workers is expected. The role requires prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure client satisfaction and completion within a set timeline.
PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES
We will expect you to:
- Interpret and translate project specifics, insurance plan designs, eligibility, and census information into a deliverable product within established configuration guidelines and timeline milestones.
- Work with broker contacts, employers, carriers, and internal team members to coordinate the timely and accurate flow of information throughout systems and processes.
- Research errors and/or system flaws.
- Accurately complete assigned tasks without extensive supervision.
- Participate in and facilitate team meetings and training, as needed.
- Think critically and be innovative about how best to achieve our mission.
- Advocate for better ways to accomplish tasks and increase efficiency across teams.
- Set high standards of performance for oneself – must be detail-oriented.
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a structured and organized manner.
- Mid to high level Microsoft Excel skills.
- Must be computer/tech-savvy and have an interest in learning new technology.
- Associate’s Degree or two years of experience in an organization that emphasizes the development and/or significant utilization of technology.
Bonus Requirements:
- Experience with Microsoft Access.
- Experience with HTML and JavaScript.
- Experience in online insurance or benefits administration.
- Experience with Selerix's BenSelect platform.
