The Implementation Specialist I esponsible for accurate and timely processing of new firm installations, benefit changes and maintenance.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the onboarding of new clients/ groups who acquire Anthem's Life and Disability Products.
  • Conducts implementation calls to review products and determine group set up.Review of new group enrollment material for accuracy including outreach for clarification.
  • Responds to incoming calls / e-mails and may initiate outgoing calls, providing customer service to brokers and employer groups by answering benefit questions, resolving issues and educating callers.
  • Verifies enrollment status, makes changes to records, researches and resolves enrollment system rejections; addresses a variety of enrollment questions or concerns received by phone or mail.
  • Strong attention to detail to accurately enter data and research and resolve questions.
  • Posts new firms, rates and benefit changes to Enrollment & Billing. Processes new firm installations, benefit conversions, add products, terminations and mergers.

Qualifications

  • Requires H.S diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 2+ years previous membership and billing experience; knowledge of Standard/Non-Standard Benefits and Products; knowledge of enrollment & billing and underwriting guidelines; or any combination of education of experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Strong attention to detail individual and the ability to work on multiple task at once highly preferred.
