IHSS Caregiver

Seeking an IHSS eligible caregiver for an elderly person in their home, to work from Wednesday to Friday 4pm-12am

We prefer multilingual applicants (English and Tagalog speaking)

Duties and responsibilities include:

1) Assisting with bathroom care

2) Keeping the elderly person company during these times. Making sure they are comfortable and safe from hazards.

3) Repositioning

4) Providing water to drink and food (biscuits or other prepared meal) when requested by the patient.

Eligible IHSS Provider must:

• Attended an IHSS Provider Orientation given by the county.
• Completed, signed and returned the IHSS Program Provider Enrollment Form (SOC 426) directly to the County IHSS Office or IHSS Public Authority.
• Completed and signed the IHSS Provider Enrollment Agreement (SOC 846) . This is the agreement that ALL IHSS providers are required to sign.
• Fingerprinted and passed a criminal background check by the California Department of Justice.
• Must provide IHSS number upon interview.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

COVID-19 considerations:
Providers must wear masks and frequently wash hands using hand sanitizers provided during the shift.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Los Angeles, CA 90068: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
