Job Title: Essbase Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: 8 Months Contract

Required Skills:

Essbase, experience leading end to end essbase upgrade project. This involves creating the various project tasks and coordinating the work efforts across multiple IT groups. Candidate must be familiar with requirements to upgrade from Hyperion Essbase 11.1.2.4 to 11.2. Candidate must be familiar with installation and configuration of the Essbase application. This includes applicable hands on experience installing and configuring software as well as importing Essbase security and artifacts. Candidate must have experience migrating Essbase to a cloud environment. Candidate must have experience with optimization and tuning of the Essbase environment.

Job Description:

Provides technical and consultative support on the most complex technical matters. Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based upon user specifications. Provides technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems. Possesses an in-depth knowledge of and works with the technical tools available for systems development and support. May serve as project leader for specific projects.

1. Expert in implementing Hyperion Essbase solutions

2. Expert in implementing solutions with MS SQL Server and SSIS

3. Responsible for Translating detailed business requirements and design and solution architecture deliverables into detailed design specifications.

4. Proven business experience within financial planning and forecasting

5. Responsible for building and unit testing too detailed design specifications

6. Experience in process and technical optimization of Essbase based processes

7. Experience with Essbase version 11.1.2

8. Experience upgrading Essbase to version 11.2

9. Hands on experience with Smart View VBA.

10. Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting principles.

11. Strong technical skills designing, developing, debugging, documenting, and implementing applications
