Commercial HVAC-R Technician

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced HVAC and Refrigeration technicians. The FD Pierce Company is searching for individuals who like to use their HVAC/R expertise to serve commercial clients.

We are looking for technicians to perform service, installation and preventive maintenance on all types of commercial HVAC, refrigeration and ice machines. Technicians are expected to be able to test components, check for leaks, operate and read gauges, read wiring diagrams, diagnose electrical and mechanical defects, reclaim refrigerant and perform mechanical repairs. We also repair air handling equipment such as kitchen exhaust hoods.

Requirements

EPA Certification.
At least two years of experience with HVAC and/or refrigeration equipment required.
Clean driving record to operate company equipment.
Ability to communicate clearly with customers and co-workers.
Take pride in appearance both personal and equipment.
Willing to work overtime and weekend hours on a rotating on-call basis.
Provide department support by properly processing work orders.
Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management
Demonstrate a personal desire to excel and advance within career field.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends

Experience:

• HVAC: 2 years (Preferred)

License:

• KY Journeyman License (Preferred)
