HVAC Service Coordinator
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Plan, assign, inspect and supervise maintenance, repair, and construction activities
- Assist in Coordinate and plan service technicians’ daily schedules
- Regularly mentor, coach, and train Service Technicians
- Create and maintain a stock inventory
- Run operation reports and provide recommendations to improve efficiency/productivity.
- Maintain service records and files
- Prepare required service reports
- Assign and distribute work orders and work requests
- Attend and participate in meetings regarding work to be done on large projects;
- Attend mandatory training classes when required
- Determine time and cost estimates for HVAC jobs
- Provide technical assistance to mechanics when requested
- Receive occasional “After Hours” calls for any urgent situations at job sites, service emergencies, or regarding local employees
- Perform additional assignments as directed by local Operations Manager, Project Managers, Vice-president and President
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in organizational leadership or other related business management field
- Five (5) + years’ Service Technician experience in a HVAC industry
- Or, without bachelor degree, a minimum of nine (9) years’ Service Technician experience in a HVAC industry
- 5 years of related experience with data entry and scheduling workloads, and processing work orders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Demands:
Individuals should be able to reach above and below, stoop and bend, sit, walk and stand. Individuals should also be able to lift, carry and/or moving items up to 35 lbs. Minimum of 40 hours per week required. Normal work hours are normally between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm M-F and will vary depending on project specifications.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
