Human Resources RepresentativePosition Overview
Responsibilities:
- Process associate specific data in Workday.
- Assist associates with problems related to pay, benefits, FMLA, Workday, job changes, transfers, pay rates, attendance, etc.
- Coordinate the hiring process by posting job opening in Workday, working with Central Employment Center to schedule interviews, scheduling physicals, completing all new hire paperwork, scheduling new employee orientation, entering information into Workday and scheduling plant orientation and training.
- Enter employee information into Workday including new hire information, termination information, corrective action and job bid sheet information.
- Maintain HR files and comply with corporate records policies.
- Plan and assist with employee appreciation events and awareness activities.
- Maintain P-Card transactions and keep up with spending.
- Comply with Sarbanes Quarterly audits.
- Coordinate/host monthly birthday meetings and order flowers and gifts for employees and family according to corporate policy.
- Assist the plant nurse with wellness events.
- Assist with SAFE audits.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information related to personnel and other sensitive matters.
- Work with plant management and production employees to develop and maintain a work environment that supports continuous improvement with regard to safety, quality and productivity.
- Assist in keeping HR office in compliance with Records Retention policies and procedures. :
- Perform miscellaneous clerical task with speed and accuracy with minimal supervision.
- General housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisor or plant management.

Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Working knowledge and experience with Google Docs, Microsoft Office package.
- 2+ years Clerical/Office experience.
- Experience in Human Resources preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, supervisors and associates.
- Must be able to work well under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Spanish (written and oral) skills are strongly preferred.
