Job Description
Vesta, Inc is looking for an energetic and customer service oriented individual to work Full-Time to assist in recruiting and hiring of staff. The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for supporting the functions of the HR department at Vesta by achieving staffing objectives through recruiting and evaluating job candidates; advising managers; onboarding, and personnel support. The Recruitment Coordinator works closely with candidates, external recruiters, managers, and the Human Resources department to support Vesta’s hiring needs. The ideal candidate would have experience recruiting in the Healthcare field and experience in creating partnerships with external recruiters and temp agencies. The Recruitment Coordinator is also the primary contact for our clinical internship program and works diligently with the different locations to place interns each semester. This position supports the mission through providing the human capital needed to serve our clients.
This is temporary position, with an immediate need. Length of position will be at least 60 days, with possibility of additional time needed. Position is currently remote, but may require days working in our Lanham, MD office.
Candidates should have strong computer skills, including facilitating interviews and onboardings online.

Functions of the Position:
Recruitment
- Establishment of recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs
- Determine the best avenues for sourcing candidates based on the consumer needs, geographic location, and position requirements.
- Meet regularly with hiring managers to understand the position and operational needs.
- Tracks all applicants and review applications to determine potential qualification for position requirements then schedules and conducts pre-screening and first interviews
- Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Schedules second interviews for selected candidates with hiring managers directly
- Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees.
- Develop and execute recruiting plans.
- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in ATS and Sharepoint systems.
- Assist in performing background and reference checks for potential employees.
- Assist in notifying candidates of the selection status.
- Assist in preparing and sending offer packages.
- Assist in preparing and sending new employee orientation packages
- Facilitates new hire orientation
- Completes annual affirmative action plan and ensures all applicants have the appropriate disposition code
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources or 4 years comparable experience.
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding, preferably experience with recruiting healthcare positions (Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Therapists, Direct-Care Support Workers).
- Experience with working with external recruiters, temp agencies, and managing intern programs.
