Job Description
Position Overview:
The HR Intern provides quality HR compliance and administrative support to the HR teammates and Magna Electronics employees. Interns are responsible for maintaining satisfied clients by delivering assistance and administrative support to the HR Manager and perspective teammates on various projects.
Essential Duties and Responibilties: Perform an I-9 and Personnel File Audit for the Magna Electronics site employees Assist and partake in site wide event planning Prepare Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents for site-wide communications Analyze data from company surveys Properly handle employee requests through responsiveness, follow-up, and escalation. Track progress, deadlines, and priorities of all projects Assist the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist in coordinating interviews, conducting reference calls, pre-screens and any other recruitment needs. Assist the HR Coordinator in daily projects, student recruitment, orientation and training coordination needs. Assist the HR Operations team in daily projects regards compensation and benefits administration. Work proactively with other team members. Openly share new ideas and information with team members. Manage and accurately report Time and Expenses.
Qualifications: Some related experience preferred Personable, able to comfortably and pleasantly deal with a variety of people Strong customer service skills
Education / Experience:
High School Diploma
Currently Attending a College or University
HR or Business-related Degree
Special Knowledge / Skills: Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Professional Communication skills (written and verbal) Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology.
