Job Description


To provide support to the HR Department and Plant Director. Be the face of the company at the front door of the factory, answer phones, complete KRONOS, manage accounts receivable, maintain factory purchase order system, champion Document and Data Control for our ISO certification, manage systems such as Smart Recruiters, Sterling, and Workforce Now. Maintain training documents and employee HR files.

  • Manage KRONOS to ensure factory workers are paid correctly.
  • Manage and process purchase orders in JDE (Oracle) system.
  • Document and Data control Coordinator to facilitate continued ISO certification.
  • Manage onboarding/orientation for all new hires.
  • Manage employee attendance records.
  • Provide administrative assistance to Plant Director such as writing/editing emails, drafting memos, and preparing communications.
  • Provide support and assistance on HR topics/projects as needed
  • Organizing meetings including planning/scheduling, sending reminders.
  • Organizing catering when necessary
  • Answering incoming calls, welcoming visitors while identifying the purpose of the visit to direct to the appropriate party.
  • Must reconcile unpaid bills with accounts payable.
  • Must be able to multitask and handle multiple issues while answering the phone and the front desk.
  • Organizing employee events around production schedule
  • Answer employee benefits questions and be available for any employee needs, as necessary.
  • Order Supplies as needed for cleaning, and office needs.


Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience (i.e. human resources, administrative assistant within a manufacturing facility, benefits, etc.) is required
  • Experience utilizing HR systems such as time keeping systems, human capital management systems, applicant tracking systems, payroll systems, background check systems is strongly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Kronos is a plus
  • Ability to identify opportunities to automate tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues and implement corrective action with timely follow up
  • Demonstrated organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
  • High attention to detail
