Job Description
The Human Resources Coordinator provides Human Resources administrative support including clerical functions such as answering phones, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, scheduling meetings and answering employee questions. The HR Coordinator will also work on HR related projects including employee activities, benefits, recruiting and other HR administrative functions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in the recruiting process, post-employment opportunities, and maintain tracking system.
Assist in providing new hire orientation for new employees.
Maintain record-keeping for Forms I9 for active and terminated employees.
Maintain employment files by filling employment related documents.
Assist in providing benefit information to employees at the time of open enrollment and as employees have questions relating to any.
Assist HRBP’s with exit interviews.
Ensure employment posters are current and order when necesary.
Participate in employee relations activities and projects, such as assist in the investigation of complaints, and assist in developing employee activities to enhance the work environment.
Track leave of absence, answer questions related to LOA’s.
Maintain log tracking disciplinary warnings and other related employment. activities (headcount report, training records, performance evaluation….)
Requirements:
High School Diploma, BA / BS degree desired, but not required
Minimum three years experience in HR
Bilingual, read, write and speak (Spanish)
Detail oriented, demonstrate ability
Kronos experience a plus
Computer applications using MS Office
Strong customer service skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a very busy environment
Team player who brings a positive attitude to the job
Desire to grow in HR
Kronos experience required preferred not necessary
Computer applications using MS Office (word, excel) with an intermediate to advance Excel level.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven analytical, communication, and adaptive planning skills
Ability to be self-motivated and work independently
Ability to work in a team environment to ensure consistent and acceptable results where warehouse associates are concerned
Ability to be detail oriented and manage multiple tasks
Physical strength to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
Exposure to varying weather conditions and temperatures in warehouse
Ability to walk for long periods of time, stand, and sit.
