Job summary:
Coordinates recording and filing of information about company personnel. Help with hiring and firing; administers policy; performs payroll; and assists employees in areas of concern.
Responsibilities:
Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations.
Perform pre-employment background screening, orientation and drug testing.
Administer hiring and termination procedures.
Maintain records of all employees and their attendance, vacations, personal issues, jury duties, funeral leave, holiday and leaves of absence.
Monitor and conduct employee training as required.
Complete various reports as required by the HR Manager/Supervisor
Monitors and ensures the consistent application of company policies and procedures.
Assist other departments with personnel issues.
Assist with implementation of paperless office.
Function efficiently with a minimal amount of supervision or no supervision.
Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those in contact on a day to day basis.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned by HR Manager and HRBP.
Requirements (education, experience, travel, physical, work environment):
One (1) to Three (3) years experience in the Human Resources field (manufacturing environment preferred)
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or similar discipline preferred.
Any appropriate combination of academic and work experience.
