Job Description

Cable Gain Services is hiring an HR Coordinator to support all HR initiatives within the company, to include onboarding, reporting and data entry, as well as other duties as assigned. Remote work is possible for the right candidate.

  • Work directly with and report to the HR manager regarding all HR endeavors
  • Support HR manager in educating employees on and enforcing company policies
  • Maintain the company?s calendar and schedule any meetings the HR manager requires
  • Create and analyze excel reports, specifically related to headcount and budgets
  • Onboard new hires
  • Help with new-hire procedures, including organizing employee orientation, creating new employee files, administering employee handbooks, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and submitted to appropriate persons
  • Organize, maintain and update employee HRIS information as needed
  • Help ensure payroll processes are correct
  • Foster positive employee relations
  • Make sure all employee records are filed correctly and kept confidential
  • Abide by company-enforced HR processes and current employment laws and regulations
  • Under the leadership of the HR manager, be a vital source of human resources information, answering any questions employees may have
  • Support any other special projects the HR manager needs assistance with

  • Advanced Excel skills, including ability to create pivot tables, pie charts and graphs in Excel

Preferred candidates will also have:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in HR
  • Experience using HR software and HRIS databases
  • HR competence and knowledge of HR process and computer programs
