Enjoy the flexibility of telecommuting as practiced by the hiring work unit as a Human Resources Assistant. The diverse Talent, Culture & Capability (TCC) Department is seeking a self-directed individual with a keen attention to detail. The TCC Department delivers human resources, organizational development, safety, wellness, and administrative services to the organization.
Required Skills
A successful applicant will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment. This position provides support to the Talent & Benefits team and assists with team efforts to administer human resource programs across the organization. Representative duties include but are not limited to:
- Coordinates mandated leave processes; coordinates the leave management options and the administrative aspects of leaves; provides information leave information and coordinates return-to-work processes.
- Completes and/or assists with recruitment efforts and the selection process, including coordinating interviews and assisting with the preparation of interview materials.
- Completes employment reference checks and facilitates onboarding processes to including coordination of background checks and pre-employment physicals.
- Coordinates logistics for new hire orientations onboarding and off boarding processes for separating employees.
- Completes data entry and processes pay increases include employee related information changes and more.
- Interprets and communicates plan information and processes; coordinates special, program and department events and meetings; assists with human resource outreach efforts.
- Supports the department with additional duties as assigned by management; works with vendors and third party administrators.
- Prepares report and presentations; maintains record, data and administrative duties, in addition to document filing and file maintenance.
- Identifies problems, resolves issues and advances partnership with stakeholders; facilitates decision making and innovative approaches and practices; facilitates the implementation and acceptance of programs, changes, processes, standards, contracts and reports.
- Participates in operational decisions; develops and tracks financial, reports, budgetary data; performs other duties as assigned.
Depending on experience, hiring reward is up to $60,000.

Required Experience*
Required Experience, Training and Education: *
- Graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Three years of increasingly responsible human resources administrative experience.
- Or an equivalent combination training and experience.
