A+ Federal Credit Union is growing and we are looking for a dynamic individual for our Human Resources and Wellness Assistant opening. Your role will be to provide outstanding service to internal members and perform a variety of Human Resources administrative duties and Wellness Program support to assist in smooth departmental and organization operations. Wellness Program Support- Point of contact for Employee Wellness program
- Establish relationships with internal departments and branches to help promote employee participation in the Wellness Program.
- Gather information for and assist in the coordination of wellness initiatives (i.e. health screenings, Lunch n' Leans, blood drives, etc.)
- Coordinate and distribute wellness communications via intranet and to departments/branch Wellness Champions.
- Assist with communications between employees and third party wellness coordinator regarding wellness program questions and problem resolution
- Responsible for gathering data to measure success on wellness programs and initiatives.
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team by entering, formatting, and printing information; organizing work; maintaining equipment and supplies.
- Monitor and fulfill standard employee requests.
- Assists with the integrity of employee personnel files and other records while adhering to the Credit Union’s retention policy
- Facilitate dual control for Generalist by auditing payroll each pay period.
- Assist in the administration of various HR Systems
- Prepare and scan employee documents into the imaging system.
- Assists in the coordination of employee events.
- Collect necessary information for new employee orientation.

Job Requirements:
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Prior clerical experience preferred
- Prior Human Resources experience preferred
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to members and employees
- Ability to organize work, set priorities and work independently
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with the flexibility to adapt to change.
- Excellent organization skills.
- Skilled in MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; excellent skill in Excel required.
- Diligent and have a strong work ethic; due to the nature of the work, be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Detail-oriented in order to provide accurate, relevant, and timely information to internal and external members.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Functions
- Must have the ability/stamina to work at least 40 hours a week.
- Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in data.
- Must be able to engage in problem-solving skills to help identify and solve potential issues in the field.
- Must be able to communicate heavily through telephone, e-mail and in-person.
