Job Description

Location: Vienna Virginia (DC Metro) - Not Remote


Objective

As part of the NA Human Resources team, be the sole team member on-site at our new DC office. Your role will be a combination of HR Admin responsibilities along with receptionist and administrative support to multiple on-site executives.

Responsibilities & Scope of Role

  • Main point of contact for day to day operations of the office.
  • Perform receptionist duties associated with welcoming visitors, receiving packages, etc.
  • Interface with property management team on any facility issues
  • Oversee the provisioning of the office to ensure all necessary items are in stock and available for team member usage
  • Provide HR support to on-site team members and other duties as assigned
  • Respond to general HR related inquires (policies, procedures and programs)
  • Provide recruitment related support (coordinate job postings in system, candidate interview scheduling, etc.)
  • Support on-boarding process of new hires
  • Provide Administrative support to on-site Executives
  • Coordinate on-site meetings as requested
  • Assist executives with scheduling visitors, candidates, etc.
  • Provide on-site support and guidance for all office systems usage (video conferencing, virtual meeting coordination, etc.)


Requirements:

Education/Experience:

  • College degree; or 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. An ideal candidate for the Human Resources Assistant position holds an academic HR background

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communications skills – verbal & written
  • Experienced with MS Office, strong Excel (e g pivot tables/ V-lookups)- prior HRIS experience a plus
  • Previous HR related work experience
