HS Assistant Golf Coach

Reports to: Head Coaches and Activity Director

Consults with: Activity Director, athletic staff, families, and students

Responsibilities:

• Assist in getting facilities and equipment ready for use.
• Assist in issuing equipment.
• Assist in all practice sessions with specific duties to be delegated by the head coach.
• Assist in seeing that training rules and the good conduct code are understood, enforced, and violations reported.
• Assist in instruction squad members in the proper use and care of equipment.
• Assist in keeping all equipment clean and in repair as necessary.
• Assist in maintaining neat and proper locker equipment and training rooms.
• Assist in following through on the caring for of any injuries and the completion and filing out of any accident/insurance forms.
• Assist in providing adequate locker rooms supervision at all times.
• Accompany the squad to all home and away competition and assist as instructed. (or be available for a scouting assignment)
• Assist in the keeping of records and statistics as are necessary for school and/or conference records.
• Assist with the checking in and out of equipment and in taking inventory.
• Suggest to the head coach any new equipment needed.
• To assume such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the head coach and/or A.D.
