Job Description
Overview: Emerald, a leading producer of b2b live events and content, is seeking an HRIS Analyst to join our People & Culture team in New York City. This role is an excellent opportunity for a candidate eager to take their HRIS Administrator career to the next step, with a defined career path to HRIS Manager within two years.
In the first six months, the HRIS Analyst will be responsible for:

In the first six months, the HRIS Analyst will be responsible for:
- Completing the implementation of Trakstar, our new performance management system
- Setting up ADP feeds for open enrollment
- Training the People & Culture team on how to use all of our tools
- Providing reports to Executive Leadership

- Manages implementations and process improvement for all of our People Systems
- Performs system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of HR systems
- Generates standard reports for ongoing business decision needs
- Maintains data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data
- Conducts training for management and new system users, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation, and communicating processes and functionality on an ongoing basis
- Maintains awareness of current trends in HRIS trends and continuously increases both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge
- Partners with People Ops Manager to manage annual open enrollment
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- At least two years HRIS related experience required
- Problem solver
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Has experience in org chart design and powerpoint
