Join the Human Resources Department at Baird as a HR Technology Analyst! Work alongside a highly collaborative team identifying Workday system trends and problems, evaluate practices, conceptualize new processes and activities and build functional/technical requirements and implement them.
Location: Chicago or Milwaukee or Louisville OR willingness to travel and be physically present in Milwaukee as appropriate. Upon hire travel to Milwaukee for onboarding and training is required.
Act as first point of escalation for Workday system issues. This position also collaborates with the HR Technology Manager to recommend, implement, integrate and manage changes, as well as communicate the changes to relevant stakeholders to promote efficiency through the use of HR technology in alignment with HR’s Key Results and Baird’s mission.
As a HR Tech Analyst (Workday), you will:- Develop critical working relationships with HR, external business owners, vendors and associated functional work-teams.
- Understand complex business processes and translate to requirements for: security, reports, interfaces, conversions and enhancements; configuration, data clean up as needed, unit test script writing, execution, cutover tasks, and knowledge transition.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices and HR technology via professional associations and training. Incorporates best practices, benchmarks and tools into the Firms HR processes and methodologies.
- Collaborates with HR Technology Manager and Director of HR Operations, Technology and Reporting and Analytics to research, recommend and implement HR technology best practice solutions in alignment with HR strategic initiatives.
- Participates on internal initiatives, such as identifying and incorporating process improvements, new functionality, technology capabilities available via the Workday platform, etc.
- Works closely with Audit/ Risk, Finance and IT, providing data for access reviews and any firm audits.
- Coordinates and performs in-depth tests, including end-user reviews and other post-implementation support.
- Act as the first point of escalation for Workday system errors or failures with the Workday application, direct access, data integration, and supported HR systems request and service support cases.
- Manages bi-annual Workday release process.
- Support project managers within HR Tech and Ops on projects by compiling meeting notes, follow ups, scheduling meetings etc.
