Responsible to assist with communicating and deploying Human Resources initiatives. Respond to inquiries, and determines when to elevate to the next level. Responsible for making independent decisions, based on prior Human Resources experience and knowledge. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations regarding employment. Facilitate HR function in employee lifecycle with a primary focus on recruiting and training.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
- Establish consistency in the day to day Human Resource standard practices, and procedures and determine ways to create efficiencies
- Acts as the HR point of contact, participating in the resolution of employee concerns and issues
- Carry out defined ad hoc and routine tasks, through familiarity with project dynamics, organizing logistics and information according to instruction in support of the Human Resources team’s efforts
- Lead project management in defined human resource priorities and manage workflow, comfortable with HRIS administration
- Review current HR processes and procedures and establish documented guidelines and processes to address Human Resources challenges. Escalate more complex challenges outside the scope of defined practices.
- Responsible for independent decisions that are based on experience and familiarity with challenges and prescribed guidelines and practices with little or no deviation
- Responsive to frequent changes in project, process or administrative needs
- Other duties as assigned
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
Additional Job Requirements
- Regular scheduled attendance
- Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling: 5%

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from four-year college or university; and two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years of demonstrated professional Human Resource experience in planning, policy administration, and employee relations

- Ability to take initiative and make independent decisions.

Computer Skills
- Advanced with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to learn other software (Saba, Image Now, Access, Concur, Ultipro)
