Position Summary:
We currently have an opportunity for a temporary HR Coordinator in the Leaves of Absence (LOA) department. The temporary HR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting several leave of absence functions.
Key Accountabilities:
- Conduct and document ADA Interactive conversations and update LOA team of outcomes
- Research and respond to requests from the LOA third-party vendor
- Manage and track LOA general email and voicemail, and respond promptly
- Run and respond to wage report requests from internal and external partners
- Research employee data and provide updates, as needed
- Ensure confidentiality of employee records and compliance with HIPAA privacy laws
- Performs other LOA administration functions and projects, as needed
Skills/Abilities/Experience & Qualifications:
- Remote position
- 1-2 years of work experience as a coordinator or administrator
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must be detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn quickly and exercise good judgment
- Flexible with a team-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently, multitask and provide timely follow up
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience with PeopleSoft, a plus
- Ability to work 40 hours per week
- Ability to maintain a sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time and operate computer equipment
- Ability to handle repetitive motion necessary for typing and filing
