Purpose: Coordinating, processing and completing weekly payroll and employee timekeeping daily maintenance. Communications with all departments and temp agencies associated with record keeping and reporting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs HR administrative duties.
- Maintenance of daily punch detail, records and reports.
- Assist department Managers with payroll and employee related matters.
- Researching and responding to payroll and benefit questions and requests.
- Weekly payroll processing
- Filing
- Assist in Onboarding employees.
- Respond timely to employee calls and requests
- Maintain confidentiality with employee information and payroll operations
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work will primarily be performed in an office environment requiring the ability to sit for prolonged periods. Interaction with all departments will require frequent visits to all departments throughout the facility.
Required attributes
- Knowledge of basic HR principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Efficient, organized and able to prioritize tasks to consistently meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Works well in a face paced company as a member of the team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bilingual skills preferred –Spanish / Cape Verde Creole
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- 1-2 years payroll experience
- HRIS experience
