Housing Specialist

Position Summary

RH Community Builders is hiring a Housing Specialist for the Landlord Engaement & Mitigation program. The Housing Specialist assists with the housing search and placement along with leveraging supportive services that will assist the participant household to maintain housing . The Housing Specialist will work directly with clients to build their budget, secure employement, and maintain their housing. The Housing Specialist is responsible for data collection and data entry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

·Coordination of services for client

·Gather documents needed to secure housing

·Locate housing opportunities in the community

·Maintain appropriate client files and complete documentation within the required timeframe

·Advocate for client’s voice and choice in housing process

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
·Bachelors Degree in social services or closely related field, preferred

·3 years experience in housing related social services

·Cleaning driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
