Play a Part in Ending Homelessness in Seattle- Supportive Housing Case ManagerJob Title: Clinical Support Specialist Days Off: TBD (Generally Friday & Saturday or Saturday & Sunday) Pay Range: $23.77 - 26.25 per hour (6 step pay scale. Steps 1-4 are hourly. Steps 5-6 are salaried) Shift Differential: N/A Location: Multiple Locations Region: Seattle Shift: TBD (Office Day or 11am-7pm) Insurance Benefits: Medical (no premiums/payroll deductions for employee coverage), Dental, Life, Long-term Disability Other Benefits: Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), ORCA card subsidy, Paid Time Off (34 days per year), Retirement Plan DESC is currently hiring Housing Case Managers in our permanent supportive housing program. - Ability to obtain an Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) license in WA soon after hire.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work effectively with clients displaying a wide range of behavior.
- Valid Washington State driver’s license and insurable driving record (preferred).
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related behavioral science, or
- Bachelor’s degree in any field and 1 year of paid work experience in social services, or
- Relevant associates degree and 1 year of relevant paid work experience, or
- Any Associates degree and 1 year of highly relevant paid work experience, or
- A combination of 1 year of highly relevant paid work experience and formal training in clinical and case management skills to demonstrate an ability to successfully perform the job.
- Two years’ experience working with homeless adults disabled by chronic alcoholism, mental illness and/or drug use.
- Valid Washington State driver’s license and insurable driving record.
