Housekeeping Supervisor - Graduate Nashville

**JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES **

• Inspects all assigned rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good?repair
• Provides efficient and objective feedback to room attendants to drive efficiency and quality within the housekeeping department
• Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniform including nametag and designated PPE
• Trains associates on safety standards and enforce those standards on a consistent basis. Identifies associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately. Completes accident investigations and take steps to prevent future?accidents
• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and?cleaning
• Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the?shift
• Perform opening and closing shift?duties
• Notifies maintenance department of maintenance repairs?necessary
• Monitor cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior?entrances
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as?needed
• Other duties as assigned

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**

• Housekeeping leadership experience preferred
• High School Diploma/GED

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**

• Basic math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in?writing
• Strong leadership?skills
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team?members
