Housekeeping Manager

Oregon Beach Vacations is a locally owned vacation rental company overseeing over 230 properties along the North and Central Oregon Coast. Purpose

Responsible for all housekeeping. This includes storage organization, staffing, ordering, cleaning, scheduling, and department relationships. An acute ability to work with people, manage competing priorities, and build rapport with people.

Specific Duties/Responsibilities

• Follow prescribed cleaning and inspection process
• Observe established policies and procedures
• Hire and train housekeeping team
• Motivate and build confidence of staff
• Leading staff meetings
• Create schedules and reporting as directed
• Collaborate with other departments to succeed at taking care of guests and owners
• Use technology to assist in managing the work
• Lead by example
• Coach staff to succeed in their respective duties
• Review property for any damage or needed maintenance and report in a timely manner
• Review annual deep cleans
• Understand the laundry cleaning process
• Inspect a minimum of 10 properties per week
• Act as on Call Manager for After Hours on Assigned Week
• Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

• Additional hours may be required to fulfill job responsibilities
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Bending, kneeling, twisting, and moving for 90% of shift
• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $45,000-$50,000

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

• High school or equivalent
• Reliable transportation
• Clean Driving Record – Required for Use of Company Vehicles
• Must have a Smart Phone
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to effectively communicate in English in both written and verbal communication
• Enjoy the sometimes hectic and chaotic nature of the housekeeping environment
