Job Description

When our guests arrive to their home away from home, whether it be for a week or more, they'll know they're in great hands! The Housekeeping Attendant handles a variety of tasks simultaneously, while also delivering the highest level of customer service. This role is responsible for the daily up-keep of all flexible-term-furnished (FTF) units as well as office spaces and amenity areas.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a genuine and welcoming manner, while completing all janitorial requests.
  • Keep storage areas and supply carts well-stocked and organized on specific instructions.
  • Complete turndown service on request
    • make beds
    • replenish supplies
    • remove trash
    • sanitize counters and tabletops
    • sweep, vacuum, or mop floors
  • Full-service cleaning upon vacancy of units
    • collect soiled linens for laundering
    • retrieve clean linen and ensure beds are made
    • disinfect toilet bowls, showers, and bathroom sinks
    • clean and put away all dishware, glassware, and utensils
    • dust, wipe interior windows, and remove marks from walls and millwork
    • replenish room with supplies
    • remove and dispose of trash
    • sweep, vacuum, and mop floors
  • Ensure cleanliness of all office and amenity spaces

    • wipe interior and exterior glass doors, windows, windowsills, and doors
    • spot clean carpets as needed
    • dust offices, light fixtures, and common space millwork
    • remove and dispose of trash
  • Garbage to be staged as per property directive to dedicated area to be picked up as per local municipality ordinance.
  • Lift and move equipment and furniture as requested.
  • Coordinate laundry drop off and pick up/restock with on-site manager.

Attributes

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • 0–1-year experience in housekeeping, janitorial or related professional area.
  • Ability to communicate verbally clearly and pleasantly with guests, management, and co-workers.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Strong time management skills, attention to detail and thoroughness.
