POSITION SUMMARY:

This position plays a critical role in hospital safety and cleans the facilities to hospital standards. Assists in the prevention of communicable disease with heavy cleaning throughout the hospital, maintains loading docks and apartments on-campus. In addition, the environmental service technician II works to clean, wax, extract, and maintain floors, carpeting, and stairwells.

Location: St. Petersburg, FL

Hours: 3:00pm-11:30pm

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma/GED preferred
• 1.5 years of housekeeping and/or floor tech experience
• Ability to read, write and understand the English language
• Waste DOT Certification required or obtained within six months
• Knowledge of waste stream processes and/or knowledge of floor care maintenance processes
