Housekeeper Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for a Housekeeper Supervisor able of attending to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail. The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeeper to ensure quality standards.

• Verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms
• Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities, perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
• Make beds; Remove dirty linens
• Vacuum floor/Sweep bathroom
• Clean/scrub bathroom (toilet, sink, floor, & bathtub/shower)
• Clean Mirrors/Windows
• Clean Air Conditioning Filters
• Clean tables/desks
• Clean microwaves, coffee makers, & mini refrigerators
• Make beds, inspecting sheets for stain
• Vacuum, mop floors
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments. Communicate issues to next shift

• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding cleanliness and safety.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Customer-oriented and friendly
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Working quickly without compromising quality
• High school degree

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $14.50 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Cleaning: 2 years (Preferred)
• Housekeeping management: 2 years (Preferred)
