Housekeeper/ Custodian- FT Evening

Augustana Care Health and Rehabilitation of Apple Valley, a 4-star rated, 178-bed long-term care and rehabilitation center, is hiring an experienced Full-Time Evening Housekeeper/ Custodian to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for keeping our campus clean and comfortable for our residents. This is an ideal position for people who love working with others! Safety is our number one priority. Staff are provided with personal protective equipment.

This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position working a varied schedule including every other weekend. Shift: Evening

Housekeeper/ Custodian responsibilities:

• Clean resident rooms, restrooms, day room and dining room, which may include dusting, vacuuming, washing and trash removal.
• Launder resident and facility clothing, sheets and towels, including folding, labeling and distribution to resident rooms.
• Provide carpet and floor care in common areas.
• Dispose of trash from common areas.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Housekeeper/ Custodian skills and requirements:

• 3+ years of housekeeping experience required, preferably in senior living.
• Work with a diverse population of older adults.
• Have the ability work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Selected candidates are required to pass background checks.
