Position Summary

Responsible for effective and efficient patient flow and care coordination throughout the hospital system continuum. Rounds throughout all clinical areas in support to collaboration among all staff toward maximal optimization of resources. Interacts with patients, families, staff, and physicians to attain prompt resolution of concerns toward top notch customer service. Coordinates with intake and case management to facilitate local and outreach transfers to Sunrise Health Facilities.

Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree in Nursing or other

health-related field preferred. Current BLS required, ACLS and PALS recommended. Current education in

Management/Leadership preferred.

Experience:

Five years acute nursing care required. Two years management experience (Charge Nurse, Manager or Unit Supervisor)

preferred.

Skills:

Basic computer and hospital informatics skills required.

Perform skilled nursing functions according to licensure-multiple times per day.

Complies with hospital employee health, infection control and safety management programs

Licensure:

Current registration with the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Nevada.
