The Steamboat Grand is looking for a Full-Time Laundry Attendant for their winter operations. Previous experience with housekeeping preferred. If you are a night owl who prefers to work independently-please apply!
Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:- Clean dryer filters
- Sweep and mop laundry area
- Wash, dry, and fold terry and spa linen
- Check chemical levels and replace as needed
- Follow established health and safety procedures for using laundry chemicals
- Responsible for laundry checklist completed daily
- Attend team meetings, as required
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
- Other duties, as assigned
- Previous housekeeping experience in lodging or similar experience preferred
- Adhere to all safety policies
- Must stay on task and organized
- Safely meet or exceed housekeeping cleaning standards
- Smile and greet guests in a consistent and friendly manner
- Maintain a friendly, cooperative and productive work environment
- Must have time management and organization skills
- Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with SSRC’s Service Excellence standards
- Must have time management and organization skills
- Must be a minimum 18 years of age
- Position includes continual lifting, standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, stooping, and pushing a cart for long periods of time
- Lifting and carrying a minimum of 30 pounds such as trash and linen bundles
- Shifts are 2pm-10:30pm
- This in an hourly non-exempt position and is subject to overtime pay
- Employment for this job is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check
- Pursuant to county and/or state orders and company policies, every employee is required to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms, practice social distancing, wash hands frequently, wear a mask per current guidelines, self-report and call in immediately and stay home if sick and assist with sanitizing and disinfecting work areas. Employees must follow all resort mitigation plans and protocols, which can be found posted on resort buildings and on Beekeeper
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Steamboat area base hourly pay rate: $15.00 per hour
