We are currently seeking a dynamic, skilled, experienced, and customer service focused General Manager for the brand new fully custom Comfort Suites coming to Greenville, SC. Operations and Sales Experience is Required.
Role has massive opportunities to grow. This is hotel development # 1 of 3 in Greenville for our team.

Description:
A successful candidate in this role will be adaptable, well-experienced, and hustle-oriented! This is a new hotel opening in the uncertain world of Covid-19 -- it's going to be absolutely critical that whoever steps in this shoes is a self-starter and is passionate about the both the hotel and its success!
Responsibilities
Develops and implements business strategies for the hotel which are aligned with the organizations overall mission, vision, values and strategies
- Plays a large roll in hotel opening and hiring of hotel staff
- Monitors hotel rates regularly and adjusts strategies as appropriate
- Ensures alignment of the hotel’s operations with the Comfort's objectives by serving as liaison for owner relations in conjunction with corporate
- Collaborates with business/programs in the area to maximize community relationships
- Strives to improve market penetration by adequately foreseeing the near future as well as long-term expectations on market development and maintain realistic yet ambitious targets
Achieves the hotel’s profit, customer service and revenue goals by directing the operation of the hotel
- Maximizes revenue by developing and implementing a sales and marketing plan in conjunction with the Management Team
- Seeks opportunities to publicize the hotel through development and implementation of a public relations strategy and by building a network within the community
- Works with the owners to continually improve hotel operations by evaluating guest services provided responding to opportunities within the market
- Analyzes business results on a regular basis and takes actions to improve results as appropriate
- Leverages system-wide expertise and resources where possible in order to incorporate best practices and deliver services on a cost effective basis
- Ensures that the hotel adheres to the Choice's standards of operations
- Represents the management company in owner relations and maintains good working-relations and dialog with the hotel owners
- Ensures the hotel adheres to all local, state and national employment, licensing, lodging, liquor, insurance, safety, contract and other laws and standards
Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing an excellent experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations. Provides employees with the training and resources they need to maximize employee engagement and deliver Yes I Can! service and teamwork
- Communicates and reinforces the vision for customer service to all managers, supervisors and employees
- Creates an environment that encourages employees to provide the service brand behavior hospitality and teamwork
- Ensures that all minimum requirements of the 100% Guest Satisfaction Guarantee are in place and understood by all employees
- Ensures that the hotel delivers 100% Guest Satisfaction by developing customer feedback avenues (soliciting input, reports, etc.) and focusing management team on identifying trends and developing and implementing solutions
- Creates an environment that provides employees with the tools, training and environment they need to deliver the service brand behavior and teamwork
Requirements
- 5 + years of hotel operations and leadership experience (you have been a GM, AGM, Director of Operations, Hotel Manager, etc.)
- Will lead Sales Efforts or be very closely involved.
- Preferred: You have been a part of the opening team for a hotel
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Natural leader, motivator and relationship builder
- Proven leadership skills, results oriented
- Able to resolve conflicts guests, supervisor and employee
- Able to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers to ensure teamwork
- Organized

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
